Pupils looked at the photographs of their parents and teachers in the 1st grade with great interest and saw differences with the 1st grade photographs from the 21st century. It was concluded that there is a lot to learn from the photos.

Pupils told each other the stories of their parents and grandparents from the 1st grade.

Compared what they had seen and heard with their own experience.

It was interesting to study 1st grade textbooks from 20th century. Pupils were surprised that there were no colored images and that texts were all in lowercase letters – they seemed dull and uninteresting.

Conclusion:

Pupils liked to practice calligraphy in specially modelled exercise-books, to solve tasks from the old books, compare textbooks and to show and tell others about what they had accomplished.
